MAP Classifier#

Overview#

The Maximum A Posteriori (MAP) classifier is a statistical classification method that incorporates prior knowledge about the distribution of the classes. It is an extension of the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) that integrates prior probabilities using Bayes’ theorem. MAP Classification Formula#

Advantages#
